Root canal treatment under the microscope is used for more precise preparation of the canals, in the case of treating teeth of an atypical shape or location, treating teeth after injuries, removing the remains of broken or chipped teeth, clearing narrow and curved dental canals, and where it is necessary to remove foreign bodies from the periodontal tissue – for example, sharp fragments of bone or dental instruments broken during tooth extractions or other procedures.
