The NL Clinic building at ulica Obroki 68 in Katowice

NL Clinic offers treatments focused on both health and beauty.

The ground floor houses five dental treatment rooms, a CT and X-ray imaging suite, and a gynaecology office.

The dental department offers general and aesthetic dentistry, microscopic endodontics, oral surgery, implantology, prosthetics, orthodontics and preventive care, along with comprehensive diagnostic imaging.

Almost the entire upper floor is dedicated to beauty and medicine for healthy people. Here you will find aesthetic medicine, cosmetology and cosmetics focused on the professional care of those who value a beautiful, natural look. Training sessions are also held here. NL Clinic is also attended by a gynaecologist, urologist and andrologist.

Next to the clinic there is a spacious private car park for patients.

Scope of treatment

Dental treatments

Prevention

The aim of preventive dentistry is to prevent disease in the mouth. A simple examination helps detect most problems early, which prevents worse consequences later. We offer scaling, air polishing, fluoride application, varnishing and fissure sealing.

Conservative treatment

Conservative dentistry covers procedures that rebuild tooth tissue destroyed by caries. Fillings are tooth-coloured. Using modern dental materials, we provide a warranty on fillings in typical cases of restoring a cavity.

Orthodontics

Orthodontic treatment improves the alignment of the teeth and the way they meet. It is carried out in children, adolescents and adults, and the choice of appliance, fixed or aligners, depends on the type of malocclusion and the diagnostic findings. The scope and duration are set by the dentist after an examination.

Paediatric dentistry

Care for milk teeth covers the treatment of caries and the rebuilding of damaged teeth; early loss of a milk tooth may affect the position of the permanent teeth. We also run acclimatisation visits.

Aesthetic dentistry

An aesthetic restoration rebuilds the shape, colour and function of a tooth using materials matched to the natural tissues. The work can take longer, and its scope depends on the condition of the teeth and on what is agreed with the patient during the consultation.

Regenerative whitening

Whitening lightens the shade of the teeth. Whether the method is indicated and what result is possible follows from an assessment of the teeth and gums during qualification. NL Clinic offers several lightening methods, chosen individually.

Surgery

We perform surgical procedures such as removal of teeth and impacted teeth, permanent tooth buds for orthodontic indications, retained roots, cysts and lesions of the oral mucosa, as well as root resection. Procedures are performed under professional anaesthesia.

Treatment under anaesthesia

Most dental procedures are carried out under local anaesthesia, which limits pain during treatment. Before it is given, we take a short history of your health and the medication you take. The dentist chooses the type and extent of anaesthesia to suit the planned procedure.

Inhalation sedation

Inhalation sedation with nitrous oxide may be considered, among other situations, in fear of treatment and when treating children's teeth. It helps the patient relax, but it does not replace local anaesthesia where that is needed. Its use is decided by prior qualification.

Root canal treatment

Root canal (endodontic) treatment is used in irreversible inflammation or infection of the pulp. It consists in shaping the canals and filling them tightly with a biocompatible material, gutta-percha. Magnification, including a surgical microscope, makes it easier to assess the inside of the tooth; the scope of treatment depends on the condition and anatomy of the tooth.

Prosthetics

Prosthetic restorations such as crowns, bridges, inlays, veneers and dentures, in composite or porcelain, replace missing or damaged teeth. We make them together with dental laboratories, and the dentist draws up the treatment plan after assessing the bite and the condition of the remaining teeth.

Implants

An implant is a titanium screw placed in the bone that takes over the role of the root of a lost tooth and supports a crown, bridge or denture. It allows single gaps and more extensive tooth loss to be restored. NL Clinic works with several implant systems; the choice is made by the dentist during qualification, after assessing the bone and reviewing the imaging (CBCT).

Bruxism treatment

Clenching and grinding of the teeth can wear them down and cause tension in the chewing muscles and headaches. Management covers diagnosis, an occlusal splint and, in selected cases, botulinum toxin.

Dentistry for seniors

Care for older patients covers conservative treatment, replacement of missing teeth and prevention, taking general health conditions, medication and the individual capabilities of the patient into account.

Diagnostic imaging (CBCT)

We perform diagnostic imaging using CBCT tomography, which allows three-dimensional assessment of the facial skeleton, teeth, sinuses and temporomandibular joints. The examination is short and the result is available almost immediately.

Prevention

Hygiene package

The hygiene package at NL Clinic is a comprehensive preventive procedure including ultrasonic removal of tartar, air polishing to eliminate deposits and discolouration, polishing to smooth the enamel surface, and application of a fluoride preparation strengthening tooth structure. It is complemented by oral hygiene instruction tailored individually to the patient's needs. The procedure not only improves the aesthetics of the smile but above all supports periodontal health, reducing the risk of inflammation and decay. It is recommended both preventively and before planned aesthetic or orthodontic treatment. The whole procedure takes about 60 minutes and is performed by a hygienist or dentist. Regular hygiene treatment, in line with the recommendations of periodontological societies, is an important element of oral health prevention.

Team

Dentistry

An unrestrained, sincere smile and an aesthetic appearance are often the key to a successful career and happiness in professional and private life.

A smiling person – obstacles shrink before them, doors open, life is friendlier; they are stronger, younger, more optimistic.

Unfortunately, we cannot always beam with our smile. Cavities, discolouration, visible fillings, dead or crooked teeth or their absence make us smile less often and more cautiously; we instinctively cover our mouth with a hand, feel embarrassed or even withdraw.

Yet it is possible to restore lost function and natural aesthetics. Modern dentistry works under local anaesthesia, on the basis of imaging diagnostics, with composite materials matched to the clinical situation and the techniques described on the pages of individual treatments.

To restore the smile.
